Hiding, mines, crits


Behold, the fruits of a full week of work on this project!

  • Swallowtail can throw grenades.
  • Swallowtail can place mines that arm end-of-turn and explode on a unit walking by.
  • Hide and search actions working! Can only hide when out of direct LOS or in some kind of cover. Searching becomes available if there's a hidden unit nearby.
  • Overheating 1-stress enemies applies Exposed.
  • Units without heat caps (such as turrets) take heat as normal damage.
  • Implemented critical hits, including effects that can just trigger on crits e.g. the chain axe applying Shredded.
  • Weapons with special tags e.g. arcing have a little ribbon that you can hover and see what it does.
  • If you get Stunned on your turn, you lose the rest of your actions.
  • Dialogue blip sfx as text pops in, continue to next line.
  • Intra-scene jukebox so sfx can seamlessly start in one and continue in another.
  • Added effects from DreamyPixelArt: stabilize, structured, stressed, overcharge, start turn, reactor meltdown, mine, grenade.
