With the wrap-up of my Kickstarter campaign, Crescent Loom is now in open development. This means that the game is far from being done -- so it's not technically a "beta" or early access -- and stability is not guaranteed, but there's ample space for player feedback to influence development.
(For example, a player recently noted that caverns felt a little claustrophobic, and it was frustrating to have your creature get stuck on a wall, so I'm now considering eliminating the cavern layout and dynamically generating terrain in a more open-ocean-type setup.)
