Recon sitrep + map, sniper NPC, terrain properties


Changes:

  • New recon sitrep following the albatross holdout.
  • Sniper NPC
  • Added aggression and stampede defense abilities to berserker NPC; can get them to hit each other.
  • Swallowtail shreds on lock-on
  • Replaced edge-of-screen scroll with swiping on a touchpad or mousewheel.
  • Added little confirmation box for consuming lockons // other reactions e.g. turret shots.
  • Albatross mission has hard/normal mode.
  • Eliminated big character sidebar, made pc/npc icons smaller and on the bottoms and tops of the screen, respectively.
    • only move camera if you click on them
    • character sheet now opens if you click the main portrait
  • Added sitrep goal and round count in bottom-right
  • Added selected terrain properties in the bottom-right
  • Cannibalized music from old game, Starship Rubicon, for some variety in placeholder music.

Smaller changes:

  • Redesigned move/attack preview tiles to be more distinct and clear.
  • Added terrain destruction to cutscenes.
  • Armor shows inside of unit healthbars.
  • Add a little jitter to the timing of seismic ripper smoke animations.
  • Made tutorial flashing buttons more noticeable
  • Added more steps and prompts to the tutorial
  • Boosting make a little text effect
  • Show range preview while placing turrets

Bugfixes:

  • AOE now hits ALL units on a tile e.g. both a flying unit and the wreck it's standing on (or terrain)
  • Self-destruct properly calculates radius for size 2 units.
  • Flying units are immune to prone
  • Fix crash on using lock-on as your reactive code
